Alexei Berteig

Canadian born Alexei Berteig started his career by graduating from the prestigious Canadian Film Centre Writer’s Lab. He has written numerous scripts for North American producers and story editors on a number of high profile projects before moving to Beijing in 2001. Upon his arrival, he left the writing craft in favor of camera work and quickly moved from camera operator to Director of Photography and eventually Director. There he found success in the field of television advertising and as a commercial cinematographer. His clients include Adidas, HP, Motorola, Haier, Tiens, and Hellespont, and his feature-film credits include the soon to be released Canadian blockbuster “Walking The Dead”.
